Welcome!

My name is Cari Shauver, and my passion is working with children. I am currently a full-time nanny for a wonderful family while I work on my degree in Elementary Education. 

I have always wanted to be a teacher because I love learning and working with children. It is my life's mission to help children grow and become the people they are meant to be, and I am so thankful that I will get to do this through teaching.

My life has been so positively influenced by education, from my mother who taught for nearly forty years to the teachers I had who helped me develop as a student and a person, I would not be who I am today without these meaningful experiences. 

This is why I want to be a teacher, because I know firsthand how transformative education can be. I believe in equity, kindness, and opportunities for all, and as a teacher I will strive to provide this to each of my students. 

As an educator, I will do my best to be a positive and supportive influence in the lives of the children I teach, the families I serve, and the profession of teaching as a whole. Thanks for taking this journey with me as I continue to grow!
